Uses of Valerian
Insomnia. Although not all studies agree, the majority of them show that valerian improves sleep quality. Before an effect is noticed, it may be necessary to use it for several days and up to four weeks. When Valerian is coupled with other herbs like hops, passionflower, and lemon balm, it can help with sleep.
