Chamomilla(Matricaria recutita) or German chamomile is one of over a half dozen species of chamomile including the other commonly used species Roman Chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile) or English garden chamomile.
Although Chamomilla's primary use is to help relieve anxiety and insomnia, it has been used for a variety of other conditions.
Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium) is a traditional medicinal herb used since the first century AD as an anti-inflammatoryr. PHS concentrated Feverfew contains a full spectrum of parthenolide and tanetin thought to be the active medicinal constituents in feverfew. Feverfew is used today for headaches, fevers, stiffness and digestive problems.
Passion flower is traditionally used by the American Indians as a tea for insomnia, hysteria and epilepsy where calming influence is needed. In a 2001 study, Passionflower performed as well as oxazepam (a RX drug for anxiety and insomnia), but with fewer short term side effects.
